Red Hot – The Fiandre Extreme NeoShell Jacket

The Fiandre Extreme Neoshell Jacket brightens up even the bleakest of days.

Fire Red is “this” season’s colour and features throughout the AW15 Sportful Fiandre line. This punchy, highly visible colour way is the perfect antidote to the contrasting gunmetal grey backdrop that is the winter.

Physiologically speaking the colour red has always been therapeutically associated with stimulating body and mind. So add some “fire” to it and we have a real kick-starter to any training ride.

While colour is an important consideration in any purchase, looking beyond the reflection in the mirror and 3 hours into a rain soaked training ride, additional reasons to make this purchase will become apparent….

Despite heavy rain the bright optimistic vibes continue thanks to the exclusive Polartec Neoshell construction. Collaboration between the aforementioned and Sportful resulting in unparalleled weather protection versus breathability, with enhanced stretch characteristics; ensuring the jacket can be cut close to the body without detriment to fit or comfort.

Hard Shell Rain Jacket Weather Protection with the associated breathability of a Soft-shell Jacket.

The Fiandre Extreme NeoShell comes in 2 options; short sleeve (with arm warmers) or the Long Sleeve Jacket. 12 degrees or below the weather forecast becomes irrelevant / obsolete.

  1. Great piece.
Is the SS version packable in a rear pocket of a jersey?

the long sleeve and short sleeve versions are the same materials and same construction except the cut of the sleeves? or not exactly ?

    thanks

    • Hi there, the SS is just about packable in a jersey pocket, though parts of it will still stick out, it’s really designed to be a ‘wear all ride’ piece though, it’s very breathable and if you are out in the temperature band it’s designed for you shouldn’t need to take it on and off…

  2. Are these already discontinued? I was looking for one of these, but it’s becoming difficult to find them (in the US). I went to the site for the UK (on sportful.com) and a lot of the sizes say “discontinued” when I try to select them.

Are they just out of stock after the holidays – or has this jacket been discontinued??

  3. These looked great, I went onto your site to order one and it says that a lot of them are “discontinued” rather than just out of stock. Do you have any idea if they will be back in stock in the next month, or if they’re really discontinued already and I should just move on and order something different?

    • Hi there Will, unfortunately our site language is a little misleading, they are discontinued for this season but will be back in stock around the end of March… hope that helps!
