“Wow!” Was my first reaction to the Hot Pack Ultralight Vest and I’ve seen the same reaction time and time again from others…
The weight (or lack of!) is undeniably impressive. At 39grams it’s the lightest vest / gilet on the market.
Lightweight, packable protection are the defining characteristics of the vest and the Hot Pack range across the board.
While saving weight might not be at the top your list, freeing up space in your jersey pockets certainly will be. The HP vest can be rolled down to a fraction of a traditional gilet, fitting neatly into your jersey pocket while still leaving room for those ride essentials… energy bars, gels and smart phone.
Changeable weather conditions will have caught out even the most experienced of cyclists. The traditional jacket or gilet left at home, with the cyclist favouring that extra energy bar or deterred by the thought of carrying around a vest, they might never wear…
Windproof with a DWR coating for good water repellency, mesh side panels for enhanced breathability. We’ve added reflective taping around the rear “stuff” pocket for some additional visibility in poor light conditions, it might only weigh 39grams but it’s not short on features.
So there you have it… New for 2014 and available in-stores today, the Hot Pack Ultralight Vest
