A different perspective…

Sottoguda

Whether you’re looking up or staring down, the landscape of the Dolomites, is nothing but inspiring.

For a cyclist, the view, up ahead is the motivation to climb.

The vista below completes the satisfaction, seemingly better for having earned it.

Climb the Passo Fedaia from the Caprile side and you’ll receive spectacular views of the Marmolada for all yours efforts. The road itself is a spectacular feat of structural engineering and a stark contrast to the natural beauty that surrounds it.

There’s one view that’s definitely worth stopping for on the lower slopes of the climb. Take in the first 4 hairpin turns and you’ll see the road bridges the expanse of the Sottoguda gorge below. Looking down, rather than riding through the gorge, offers a different perspective, both are equally impressive.

Both are just delaying tactics for the gradients up ahead ☺
