Riding bikes in Majorca is for some, an annual pilgrimage, escaping the less than perfect weather back home and putting some sun-drenched miles in the legs, for the season ahead.

As a pasty white English guy, I can confirm nothing lifts the spirits like the warmth of the sunshine and blue skies above. That first “summer like” day is something every cyclist looks forward to…

Legs shaved, bike serviced, new tyres… There’s something a pre-ride ritual, come tick list that every cyclist abides to.

But for me, it’s a set of new summer kit that marks this day, it might only be April but my summer starts here!
