The Fiandre WS LRR Jacket SS – paired with No Rain Arm Warmers, Fiandre Bib-Short / No Rain Knee Warmers
To compare anyone (or anything) to Peter Sagan would be doing the current world champion a disservice, a one of kind, best of a generation, a name mentioned in the same sentence as Kelly and Merckx. The man can sprint and climb – descends like he’s on rails.
And as a technical sponsor who wouldn’t be proud to have this guy racing and winning. (In Sportful apparel)
*Disclaimer – We’re big fans just like everyone else*
Versatility – (This is one weak segue / transition, I apologize) But the versatility that underpins Sagan’s success is a redeeming quality to have and leads us smoothly but perhaps not flawlessly onto the new Fiandre WS LRR Jacket SS and what defines it and the Fiandre line as a whole.
The acronym packed name is a good indication of what this jacket has to offer and why it’s so effective.
The Fiandre line is designed to cope with variable weather conditions rather than just a focus on wet weather conditions for example. (Keeping the rider comfortable throughout) Think any typical Flemish day, windy, little bit of sunshine, scattered rain showers.

LRR – “Light Rain Resistence” The fabric & construction will fend off all but the heaviest of downpours

The advent of the fully taped seam sealed GORE® WINDSTOPPER® LRR fabric is something of a game changer – highly breathable, able to fend off the elements, with enhanced wet weather protection.

Given the level of protection offered – the jacket is remarkably packable, low in volume and easy to fold up / stash in a jersey pocket – when and if the temperature / conditions dictate. Overheating is not an issue.

The “long” short sleeves offer excellent coverage – paired with or without arm warmers temperature dependent.

Riding through No Mans Land
While the jacket makes it’s first appearance in the autumn / winter collection this is a piece that can be used year round, worn over lightweight mesh summer fabrics or brushed thermal fleece alike.
Versatility 365 days a year.
