Today saw the unveiling of the 2015 Tinkoff Saxo race kit by Sportful at the team presentation held at Tinkoff Bank headquarters in Moscow.
The new kit features a fluo yellow colour way similar to that used in the 2014 Tour de France kit, which was extremely popular with the fans.
In a reference to Saxo Bank’s many years of sponsoring the team it also retains the blue colour that is part of their corporate identity.
The new design will make the athletes more visible to their teammates and support vehicles in the peloton, help differentiate them from the leaders jerseys in several races throughout the season and be easily recognisable to fans on TV and on the roadside.
The Sportful BodyFit clothing supplied to the team has been designed specifically for Tinkoff Saxo with constant product testing and feedback from the team. Aerodynamic, lightweight, breathable and comfortable it is the perfect kit for the ProTour.
Available at retailers
The new kit will be available to the public in both the BodyFit Pro Race jersey, with mesh shoulders, lightweight fabric and an aerodynamic fit and the BodyFit Pro Team jersey, which the team uses for training.
There will also be a choice of BodyFit Pro Ltd shorts, with the Ltd bibstraps and TC Pro seatpad or the BodyFit Pro Classic shorts with mesh bibs and BodyFit Pro seatpad, both are used by the team for racing depending on athlete preference.
Both the Slovakian and Danish champion team jerseys & classic shorts of Peter Sagan and Michael Valgren will also be available at retailers soon.
Camo training kit
As well as the Fluo race kit, Tinkoff Saxo will be using a bold camo print training kit with fluo accents throughout the year. It will be in use at the team’s first training camp of 2015 at their new winter base of JSH Resorts Hotel Il Picciolo Etna at the base of Mt. Etna, Sicily.
The camo training kit will be available to purchase in the BodyFit Pro Team Jersey, thermal long sleeve jersey and BodyFit Pro Classic shorts.
